Ricardo OS is a private personal productivity and information-management system operated for its owner's personal use.
Depending on permissions explicitly granted by the account owner, Ricardo OS may access Gmail messages and metadata, Google Calendar events, Google Drive files and metadata, and Google Contacts information.
Data is used only to provide owner-requested functionality such as search and context retrieval, organization and classification, open-loop detection, draft preparation, calendar management, file management and related personal automation.
Authorized data and derived metadata may be stored in private infrastructure controlled by the owner. Access credentials and OAuth tokens are protected as secrets and are not intentionally exposed in public application content or logs. Access is limited according to least-privilege and human-approval controls.
Google user data is not sold, used for advertising, or shared with third parties except where strictly necessary to provide an owner-requested service or to comply with law.
Google Workspace user data is not used to train or improve generalized or non-personalized AI/ML models. Use of information received from Google Workspace APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Data is retained only for the personal functionality and auditability required by the owner. The owner can revoke Google authorization and can request deletion of locally stored authorized data, subject to necessary security, audit and backup-retention controls.
Permissions are requested only for implemented functions. Sensitive external actions are subject to application-level safeguards and, where configured, explicit human approval.
Questions about this policy can be raised by the owner through the support contact shown on the Ricardo OS Google OAuth consent screen.
